Kasper Schmeichel recently completed a one month loan deal to join Championship side Cardiff City, prior his move to coventry was obstructed as the negotiations between the clubs failed to take place. Kasper was impressive in his loan spell at falkirk, and a recent trail of impressive performance made bluebirds to sign him on a one month loan deal following their recent 3-1 defeat.more

Peter Schmeichel played for Man city at the death of his career, all thanks to an injury to Isaksson which paved the path for his son Kasper to make his dream debut with Man city, Kasper proved that things will come big for him by his fantastic agility on the goal post and thus making a dream start with three clean sheets in straight matches. The stopper played a pivotal part in the City win against Manutd and with a penalty save against Van perise in the fourth, would have made him ruddy hadn’t he conceded that mighty blow from Cesc Fabregas at the near post, the first seven games with city were surely crucial for him and he handled them brilliantly and thus becoming the first choice stopper for city gaffer.
On the other side Van Der Sar started the season with some terrific display; three penalties saves against Chelsea and then a series of clean sheets cleared the intension of "Edwin". Van Der Sar is the only non-Italian who pierced the position of stopper in juve which was taken away from him by Buffon after he arrived from Lazio and 32 million pounds was quite a bargain for the Lazio stopper. After moving to Fulham from juve, "Edwin" rejected a move to Old Trafford in 2005 later he agreed and joined united in their far east campaign, the penalty save against Mancity must be the limelight of his career the win made Manutd champions of 06/07.
